Julie Johnson
L.Ac, MSOM, Dipl.OM, FABORM
Julie is a licensed acupuncturist, board certified herbalist, and the founder of Seven Seeds Acupuncture. She has been in practice since 2015.
Julie holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College with over 3,000 hours of training and continues to train deeply. In 2025, she completed a 2.5-year Graduate Mentorship Program in classical Chinese Herbal Medicine with world renowned herbalist Sharon Weizenbaum, plus an additional year of study in women’s health through the White Pine Institute. In 2022, she completed the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship with Whitfield Reaves, considered by many to be the “father of sports medicine acupuncture.” She has been a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board Of Reproductive Medicine since 2017 when she completed in-depth study in the use of acupuncture and herbs to support reproductive health. In 2015, she completed an internship in Harbin, China at a rehabilitation hospital where she observed in-patient treatments for people navigating paralysis due to stroke or spinal cord injury.
Julie’s journey to becoming a holistic wellness practitioner was shaped by her experience as a teen losing her mother to cancer and the healing process that she navigated in the ensuing years. She discovered acupuncture and herbal medicine in her mid-20s when she developed debilitating menstrual periods and was not presented with satisfying treatment options by her OBGYN or primary care doctor. A friend referred her to an acupuncturist and she quickly fell in love with the medicine.
Julie is continually inspired by the profound healing power of acupuncture and herbal medicine, and she established her clinic with the vision to be a trusted healthcare resource in the community. She believes that cultivating health and wellbeing is an ongoing process throughout the course of life. She sees herself as an ally on that journey, helping her patients achieve symptom relief while also listening to their needs, filling in knowledge gaps, and providing a warm and nuturing healing environment.
Emi Arimura
L.Ac, MSOM, Dipl.OM
Emi is a licensed acupuncturist and board certified herbalist in Colorado and California. She maintains practices in both Los Angeles and Denver.
Emi’s interests are broad and her acupuncture training is no different. She studies classical Neijing Nature-based medicine with Ed Neal, MD; alchemy, meditation, and Qi Gong with Dr. Liu Dong, L.Ac.; and esoteric Shen acupuncture with Dr. Harijot Singh Khalsa. She recently completed a two year course of study with the White Pine Institute on acupuncture and classical Chinese herbalism in women’s health and is now studying Japanese Acupuncture and moxa techniques with Ehrland Truitt, L.Ac. and the Hari High Desert Society. Before Emi knew what acupuncture was, she worked with late stage cancer patients at UCSF and UCLA. Through them, she learned about the arc of a lifetime, which includes illness, decline, and death. She considers these relationships to be her greatest learning experiences.
Through the transformative work of acupuncture, Emi has found a more healthful, joyful, and beautiful life. Emi lets each treatment unfold organically. With many modalities and modes at our disposal, each treatment can meet you just where you are. Acupuncture, herbs, and moxa can help improve health, prevent disease, decrease symptoms, and are deeply supportive through the cycles and transitions of life. It’s Emi’s aim to facilitate these transformations — small and big — with whomever is interested in this special work.

Julie is an excellent practitioner, I can't recommend her highly enough!
She is kind, professional, and welcoming. I was struggling with knee pain and an inflamed bicep tendon after a car accident and a fall while skiing. Julie performed acupuncture and cupping on the affected areas, and the relief was almost immediate! I also had a second degree burn from the car accident and an allergic reaction to the burn cream they used in urgent care. NOTHING was clearing the rash. Julie gave me an herbal tincture and the rash started to break within 24 hours. I'm so grateful to have found her!
