Hi, I’m Julie Johnson
L.Ac, MSOM, Dipl.OM, FABORM
I’m a licensed acupuncturist, board certified herbalist, and the founder of Seven Seeds Acupuncture. I’ve been in practice since 2015. I am continually inspired by the profound healing potential of acupuncture and herbal medicine, and I established my clinic with the vision to be a trusted resource for holistic medicine in the community. My core belief is that we possess the agency to improve our health and well-being, and I would be honored to stand alongside you as a dedicated member of your wellness team, offering support and expertise to help you attain your healthcare goals.
More about me and my training:
My journey to becoming a holistic wellness pracititoner was shaped by my experience as a teen losing my mother to cancer and the healing process that I navigated in the ensuing years. I specifically discovered acupuncture and herbal medicine in my mid-20s when I developed debilitating menstrual periods and could not find satisfying answers or treatment options from my OBGYN and PCP. A friend referred me to an acupuncturist and I quickly fell in love with the medicine.
I hold a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College with over 3,000 hours of training and I continue to train deeply. Most recently, in 2025 I completed the 2.5-year Graduate Mentorship Program in classical Chinese Herbal Medicine with world renowned herbalist Sharon Weizenbaum, plus an additional year of study in women’s health through her White Pine Institute. In 2022, I completed the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship with Whitfield Reaves, considered by many to be the “father of sports medicine acupuncture.” I have been a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board Of Reproductive Medicine since 2017 when I completed in-depth study in the use of acupuncture and herbs in support of reproductive health. And in 2015, I completed an internship in Harbin, China at a rehabilitation hospital.
Hi, I’m Emi Arimura
L.Ac, MSOM, Dipl.OM
I’m a licensed acupuncturist and board certified herbalist in Colorado and California. I maintain practices in both Los Angeles and Denver. Through the transformative work of acupuncture, I’ve found a more healthful, joyful, and beautiful life. Acupuncture, herbs, and moxa can help improve health, prevent disease, decrease symptoms, and are deeply supportive through the cycles and transitions of life. It’s my aim to facilitate these transformations — small and big — with whomever is interested in this special work.
More about me and my training:
My interests are broad and my acupuncture training is no different. I let each treatment unfold organically. With many modalities and modes at our disposal, we can let each treatment meet you just where you are. I study classical Neijing Nature-based medicine with Ed Neal, MD; alchemy, meditation, and Qi Gong with Dr. Liu Dong, L.Ac.; and esoteric Shen acupuncture with Dr. Harijot Singh Khalsa. I recently completed a two year course of study with the White Pine Institute on acupuncture and classical Chinese herbalism in women’s health and am now studying Japanese Acupuncture and moxa techniques with Ehrland Truitt, L.Ac. and the Hari High Desert Society. Before I knew what acupuncture was, I worked with late stage cancer patients at UCSF and UCLA. Through them, I learned about the arc of a lifetime, which includes illness, decline, and death. May it not be such a surprise when I meet these teachers for myself. I consider these relationships to be my greatest learning experiences. To these teachers and to the many friends and guides I have met along the way, I give my great thanks.

Julie is an excellent practitioner, I can't recommend her highly enough!
She is kind, professional, and welcoming. I was struggling with knee pain and an inflamed bicep tendon after a car accident and a fall while skiing. Julie performed acupuncture and cupping on the affected areas, and the relief was almost immediate! I also had a second degree burn from the car accident and an allergic reaction to the burn cream they used in urgent care. NOTHING was clearing the rash. Julie gave me an herbal tincture and the rash started to break within 24 hours. I'm so grateful to have found her!
